While they were doing the rebellion they decided not to attract attention to themselves by not using guns or fire arms. They used knives, hatchets, and other had to hand combat items. They were just so sick of being treated like they had been, and wanted a change. they were moved by the writings of the pamphlet/newspaper called the "Liberator".
It took place in a town called south Hampton in VA. Nat led some 70 men in the rebellion. He had just read the Liberator and fired them up. He was determined to kill all the white slave drivers. They caught most of the men but some escaped into the nearby woods. They started off with only a few men which grew into a group of 70. They were passionate about the cause and they cant do anything about it. He was a spiritual man who was a fighter for the cause. They were happy to die for the cause.l They would be happy to see that slavery is no more and that we are progressing against racial problems.

The men grabbed guns and massacred every white person they encountered going from plantation to plantation for a whole 24 hours.After that, the men disappeared. After a few weeks Nat Turner was found and tried for his crimes. He was executed. It was the single most powerful rebellion in the Civil War. After Nat Turner's Rebellion they guarded the plantations more heavily to protect another event like that from happening.. It was concluded that after the rebellion, 55 men, women, and children were killed.
